Bitcoin is Hope

Beneath the memes and the sensational headlines is a very serious and thoughtful monetary revolution championed by misfits, rebels, builders and optimists at the edges of a decaying society.

What appears to a be a get-rich-quick-scheme based on the price volatility and enormous crypto fraud, is in fact a sincere attempt to create a more fair, stable, vibrant and creative society.

This is about much more than making money. It is about remaking the money. And this has nothing to do with 'crypto' or 'blockchain'. I'm talking about Bitcoin specifically. Everything else is merely an asset, often designed to simply enrich its founders. Bitcoin is a movement.

And most importantly, this is a voluntary grassroots movement. Unlike emerging political philosophies today, Bitcoin doesn't win through coercion. It wins through the conscious adoption of the broader public. In other words, you get to decide if this is the kind of future you would like to create and be a part of.
